I'm not a big fan of brain dumps but here's one: http://www.nerdgirl.net/
You're better off doing the practice tests here, I found them the most helpful and many were similar to actual test questions. http://www.freepractice.com

I'm taking the test on 5-23, and would be interested to know of anyone who has taken the new test. Experiences etc. I'm pretty confident going in, but I'll be sure to check these braindumps to help maximize my $264 (i.e make sure I pass).

Hey all that have taken A+ recently. I passed it 3 years ago. I stay pretty current on hardware issues. Would there be any reason to recertify? Is the certification still good?
thanks

Try this site:
www.examnotes.com (http://www.examnotes.com)
I found the questions on the test to be much harder than the practice tests you find at the braindumps.Dont get to overconfident because you score well on the practice tests.Instead, just study your ***** off and youll pass, no sweat.Good luck!

Man, trust me... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON BRAIN DUMPS. It will b better for you in the long run. Do some practice tests, talk to someone, but not the braindumps.
Believe me, i know. Currently studying to take my first MCSE exam for win2k..... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

DragonB, I too am a long-time ( relatively speaking ) A+ certified tech, and I share your concerns.
CompTIA says we are certified for life. But technology doesn't march on, it flat-out runs. Having a piece of paper that says you were certified in 1998 tells your potential employer that you were up to date, a while back. It says nothing about now.
The alternative is Microsofts hateful system, where your exam is retired. Did I forget everything I learned about networks the day they retired Network Essentials?
I believe that an older A+ cert doesn't say that much to prospective employers. I believe that I would spend a week on the internet before a job interview, getting up to date on the hot CPU of the week, and the current state of drive technology.

I disagree. A+ covers the basics. The asics get more modern, but they're still the same basics. If CompTIA says I don't have to re-certify, I'm not going to. With the information in this forum alone, you could easily pass the A+.

Make sure you study well on your own before
checking out any dumps as some may be incorrect.
