All the texts on my GTA 3 (PC) are "smothered", I can't read them..
Is there any file that I can download to fix this bug ?

Well this usually happens on Nvidia based winXP systems. Got a Nvidia card? Got XP? Anyhow download the GTA3 official 1.1 patch. search www.google.com for it. It fixes this and not saving control settings etc. THis game is bug city just to warn ya but with some work its playable. Looking good on mine NOW. Hehe. Try that patch and let me know if it helped.:t

Do you have all the Windows updates installed? Also, install the GTA3 patch.

I had the same problem. You need the Q306676 patch from microsoft. you can obtain it here. (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B306676)

There is a file in there that will actually fix this.

You only need this file if you don't want to install SP1 for Windows XP. Otherwise if you would like to install SP1 for Windows XP you can download it here. (http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/pro/downloads/servicepacks/sp1/default.asp)

Have fun playing this game :) I know I still do :)

I just bought it a few days ago and I'm not sure what to think of it yet. Before my wife and I took it to the check-out counter we were walking around the store with it, my wife mumbling something about wasting money or whatever, I dunno, I wasn't paying attention.
