first of all, either your tv or vcr is going to need stereo outputs, most vcrs and tv dont have stereo outputs, but some do,,these are RCA jacks,,there will be two of them, one for the left channel and one for the right channel. If your tv doesn't have any audio outputs, all is not lost if you have a VCR connected to your TV, more than likely your vcr has only a single mono RCA output jack, and you will need to get the proper adapters from your local radio shack to convert the RCA cable from the vcr to 1/8 inch minijack (type found on most headphones) so that you can plug into your sounds cards "line in" , of course you won't be getting stereo sound unless your vcr has stereo outputs, but hey, you will be getting your TV's audio through you computer...

i have an 8 track mixer with TV,Stereo,Satellite receiver,VCR,electric guitar, keyboard all hooked up to it,,with the main out running into my computer,,it's sweet,,but you needs all kinds of cables and adapters.

basically,,what im saying is, it should be fairly obvious and apparent how to do it,,,,does your tv have any audio outputs on it? does your vcr if you are using one? if they do,,then you are set,

sorry for the long winded reply...
