There's a small network (1 NT 4 server, 6 NT 4 workstations, 2 or 3 Win95 stations) connected to the Internet through an ISDN modem with no antivirus protection at all!!! Two of the NT workstations have an old version of Norton and that's it. I need recommendations on the best AV software out there from a business/network point of view. Also, recommendations on how deep to go with this would be great. For instance, just install it on the server or server and workstations? Where I work now we have Norton installed on the servers only and it works pretty good that way. Let me know what you think.

I use McAfee 4.5.1 on all workstations. I also use McAfee on all file servers but only scan inbound files.

I use SecureCast to automatically receive antivirus updates (actually checks every 4 hours) that are automatically installed by the workstation PCs.

It works well for us. No problems that weren't resolve by thier online support areas or, in some cases, live tech. support.

I'm trying to prevent any corruption by a virus on both data and programs which is why I load it everywhere.
