How much cheaper would it be for me to go with the 7205 chipset vs. the i850 chipset, and would i still see the same performance as the rambus memory while using PC 3500?

Can't you price this stuff yourself? I mean really...

DDR will perform better at lower CPU frequencies. RDRAM rules at 3GHz, but it's expensive. Me? I'd get DDR anyway. I can't tell the difference by "feel".

Granite bay..........

The dual channel ddr is ok but nowere near 1066 RD ram...

Its dual ddr performance is just a little above nomal ddr ram...

the board is too expensive compare to RD ram board..
but the ram is cheap!

you can read and see the bechmark results here

well i have 512mb of pc800 right now but its the 16 bit chips, and all the P4 boards use the 32bit modules, if i could afford to buy the rdram again, i would do so, or if there was any kind of method i could use to continue using my 16bit chips on the 32 bit board, that would be much better.
