Got the new rig running and decided that i'd like to partition the HD (Maxtor 60GB). One partition for the OS, one for programs, and one for photos and stuff.

Question: Is it easier to do a reinstall and partition with the Maxtor software or buy software to do it and not have to reinstall programs? How much would I need for the OS?

You can partition during setup if you install fresh. When you arrive at where you select the location to instal to, use D to delete partitions and C to create. Choose your size by using the backspace key and typing it in.
