Help Please

One day I made a setup for one game (need for speed 4).
When I want to run this program two messages appeared in the screen.
One said:
(Error Starting Program
linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL:dPaint)
Other one said:
(c:/Progrm files/Electronic Arts/Need for Speed High Stakes/nfshs.exe
A device attached to the system is not functioning.)
Any one he knows how to solve this matter please advise with very thanks.

I suggest checking out
http://www.nfs4.com/ .

They have a message board that gets a lot of traffic and your odds are pretty good of getting a question answered. Good luck with EA tech support. I have never gotten them to respond to an email.
