Morrowind Help

simple question.

In morrowind you know that first package you have to deliver to cassius in the beginning of the game. For some reason I dont have it any more, I dont know if i dropped it or sold it or what by accident. I never gave it to cassius and now I went back to the first town and I cant get another one, I cant remember where I put it, and cassius wont talk to me without it.


Is there any way to get it back or even cheat if I have to to get that package back? I just want to start the main story line now that my character is around level 10 or so.

I no longer know how to do it, but if you can access the game file with the editor you can "create" the package somewhere, anywhere convenient and just go grab it like you would anything else, just have to use the editor and create an add-on with it... easiest way would be to stick it in a nearby store and assign a value to it if one hasn't been assigned if you don't know how to place things on the ground. Having a value assigned to it shouldn't change it's id code, but you need to find it to begin with, so you need to look in the appropriate category, of which I don't know.

But find the code in the editor, stick it in a store (make sure you uncheck a property so that it's sellable in some way (to the store, it's always sellable to you), as the game sometimes goes funny on stupid stuff, don't want that to be one of them, as you'll be restarting the game for sure with a bad patch. after you've completed the task you can remove the add-on from the game (now shouldn't effect anything, though backup your character just incase) or leave it in there since it really doesn't matter other than for "puirities" sake if you have some odd problem down the line.

actually i found the code to do it but I was sitting here thinking....my character is only level 9 so I just restarted the whole game. This time I knew what I was doing from the start so I breezed through a bunch of quests. I just need to level my guy up again.
