Hi,

I'm having trouble getting the output to my tv in colour.

Using a Radeon 9700 & s-video cable. When connected to the s-video connector on the side of my tv, the software refuses to pickup the signal. When i connect the s-video into a scart & connect to AV2 on the back of my tv, i get a picture, but only in black & white ???

Had a GF4 up to a week ago, using the same cable & worked no probs !

Any suggestions ppl ????

Thx :)

:) Ow yes u r fuxed, you have an old tv which only supports composite input. The connector u use now transfers the S-VHS output to your ne cable, though still pushes an S-VHS signal.

There is just one shop selling the right cable, that actually converts the signal. But you will have to look hard because i lost the link reformatting my compy :( . I did buy one of these cables myself and problem is solved

Not the tv m8. Tv is only 6mths old, Mitsubishi 28" Widescreen.

Besides, s-vhs output from that cable worked fine on my gf4 just 2 weeks ago.

Tied different cable & different tv, same, b&w.

If i connect the s-vhs to composite adapter on & use composite cable, works fine in colour.

But s-vhs cable SHOULD work fine on it's own !!

and no S-Video is DIFFERENT in every TV/VRC etc

in another words

your TV DOES NOT LIKE the signal from the S-Video

try hooking the S-Video to your VCR, and have your TV pickup the VCR instead
