I just got a A7N8X Deluxe and I have not been able to get it to boot past the (POST) cpu screen.:( My Specs. are:
GF 3 Elsa
Asus A7N8X Deluxe Model
Barton 2500+ 333FSB 512Kb
2x 256MB of Corsair XMS memory
350 Watt power supply
Note:This is what I used only to get it to boot up in a case.
I have tried 1 dimm only and 2 dimms in different slots and still nothing.
If anyone has any suggestions, please post your thoughts on what I could try. Thanks for reading.

What's the brand name on the power supply? Also, test the memory in another computer using www.memtest86.com if you can. How's your cooling on that CPU?

It is a MAX power supply.
I have also tried clearing the CMOS. I have also put in a Duron 800 to see if it was my new Barton CPU. I used the same heatsink and fan which was the Aeroflow on it. I purchased a new case and it came with the power supply as to save some cash. The revision on the board is 1.04 and I think that is the lastest revision out for this board but I'm not sure. When I put the Duron in, it turned on and I heard all the fans on the case come on and the cpu fan. This time it stayed on. Another question I had was; does this board have an onboard PC speaker? I see a small black cylinder with a small hole in the center of it. Could this be a onboard speaker? If so it is not plugged in and the case didn't come with a PC speaker. If anyone has any other ideas as to why it is doing this or if you have had the same issue, please post and feel free to question and I'll try to answer them. I am not a novice but I not an expert either. Thanx everyone for reading.:t
