I want to record all my tapes and recrod otno CD's. I know how to do that, but what I am missing is a record level adjuster. I used them in the old days to record my record to tapes. I was able to adjust the level of the recording. Too low its bad, but too high it distorted the sound. I am using Musicmatch bu it does not offer that (at least the free version does not).
Has anybody heard of any software that offers this recording level adjustment?
Thank you

Audiograbber has a "normalizer".
I believe thats what your looking for.
Its free too http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Also I know Adaptec's (Roxio) Spin Doctor will do this and it works pretty good.
It comes with EZ CD Creator Deluxe

SpinDR is GREAT, helped a friend set up his system to record from his old albums, wish it was available before I ditched my turntable and giant box of classics---(there is a simple article in the June MAXpc mag about setup)
