using Riva tuner, u have two options of over clocking u have this:

and

what is the difference?...am i supposed to be overclocking both, the low level one only, or the sytem one only....i didn't notice this one until right now trying to find a spot to change the 27Mhz jump ratio...

Also, from http://www.nvworld.ru/docs/rt_e.html:
Powerful low level hardware overclocking tool for all NVIDIA and ATI R200 graphics processors:
Full driver independence due to direct access to NVIDIA graphics processor's registers.

Unlike the Detonator drivers, RivaTuner's low level overclocking module doesn't switch display mode and allows to avoid annoying display mode switch when applying overclocking settings at Windows startup.

Unlike the Detonator driver, RivaTuner's low level overclocking module doesn't lower memory timings when setting clock frequencies on NVIDIA based display adapters and allows to get higher performance.

Optional "Restore clock frequencies after suspended mode" feature. RivaTuner can save core and memory clock frequencies before entering suspended mode and restore it when system resumes.

Hmmnm, so Low level o/cing is better in terms of performance, well, every days a school day eh?

Only concern is about the driver level relaxing RAM timings, it might actually be better doing this way to be on the safe side?
