I recently bought an Asus mainboard model CUV4X-E and it works great except when I shut the computer down. I'm running WinME and it gets to the screen that states it's OK to shut your computer off and stays there. No auto shutdown. I have to reach over and hold the power button the required 4 seconds to turn it off. I've tried 3 different power supplies, a Windows 98 setup and several settings in the power section of the bios setup. Still won't shut down by itself. This doesn't effect the operation of the computer and I realize it's a convenience thing, but I'm the kind of guy that wants to know "why".
