Where is she at? Sysopt is "worldwide" and there might be someone nearby willing to lend a hand!

Sorry I couldnt think of a better tittle.

Basically my girlfriend lives abroad, she has a laptop, which she uses for e-mailing, surfing and for her work.

However she know very little about computers, she doesn’t even know what o/s she’s got (so cute).

How can I find these things out, can she authorize me to enter her computer ?.
Are there any websites that contain explanations about computers in laymen’s terms ?.

I want to set up Outlook Express on her computer, is there a way to do this remotely ?.

Thanks for any help,
cm.

I think Internet Explorer has Outlook Express included.

My favorite e-mail is go.com mail.
You can c&p to it unlike Yahoo mail which is protected.

Anyway ->

Internet Explorer 5.5 and Internet Tools, all for U.S. $10 plus tax
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/webcd/default.asp

I prefer to order the IE CD rather than download cuz I install it so much it's a hassle to download it each time.

Plus the CD is less likely to be buggy than a dial-up download.
