Hiden files

Hay check this one out.
I set my Windows Exploere up to show all files and when i did that there are 63 blank files on my desktop when i set it to hide hiden files there not there If i del then when i reboot thay come back I cant find a program that might be writing to them any ideas

how are you checking to see what programs could be writing these?? and what are some of the file names?
