I have Win Me on AMD 900MHz with 256M (128M X2). When I go to start>Program>Accessaries>System Tools>System information,
I get the window telling me that physical RAM is 255MB and available RAM is 133MB. The system resource is 80% and I see only two icons in system tray. Does anyone know why available memory is only 133MB? I am not running anything except MSN Messenger in the background when I checked it. Thank you.

Eddie

I've noticed that when I went from 128mb to 256mb that windows used more Ram.

WinME just allocated more memory for the VCache, you can gain more control of system memory resources using Cacheman, available from www.outertech.com (http://www.outertech.com) , set it for ME/Power User ...

Thank you for your help in this matter. I was also wondering if on-board video card is taking up RAM although I have AGP 32MB Video card. The computer is designed by Mitsuba Company and sold by West-Tech computer Co. http://www.west-tech.com/P_925.htm

Does anyone know if or how to disable on-board built in video card? Thank you.
