BIG PROBLEMS WITH CD-R CD-RW and Burner drive

I own a Cyrix 166MHZ and have a Smart and Friendly CD Racer CD-RW drive 2224..i recently reformatted and reinstalled win 98SE and have been having probs since..i can make backups of CDs, but when i put them back in drive (or other CDs i have created) it lets me read some of them and wont let me read others..even the ones it lets me reads lock up when i try to play the CD Game or transfer files back to hard drive..This even happens with original copies of CDs such as windows program, CD burner software, etc..anyone can help? please any help is greatly appreciated..

sound like you dont have the burning depth setup at all....some drives have software drivers with them that allow you to do so..
thats all i can really think of .......
