Display problem with NHL 2001

Whenever I play there will be a glitch on the screen. It's like a sunburst of black, but it doesn't cover the whole screen. one to four "rays". It seems to happen randomly.
This is the only game it happens on.

Specs:

Abit KT7 w/ Duron 700
Diamond ViperII Z200
128 megs Crucial Ram
Soud Blaster Live value
Komodo H73 monitor

have you tried getting the latest patch from the EA website??? also get the latest drivers for your video card. i would start there 1st........

I have the latest video drivers, and I didn't see anything in the patch that mentions this problem. Thanks for the feedback.
Oh well, guess I will learn to live with it. Not enough to keep me away from the game.

Tell me about Willie. One things for sure though, they are gonna kick **** at the GHO this year. They ought to start using golf clubs instead of hockey sticks. I thought Mess would at least be a big enough boost to get an appearance this year.
Even my WolfPack bowed out in the first round this year...
Speaking of NHL2k1...I wish there was a way to change the players skills (included Players) Some skill levels of the Rangers rookies are a bit low..
