No. The 7+ has mounting issues with P4 motherboards. It doesn't always exert enough pressure on the cpu.

I'd get a vantec aeroflow or something else rated highly at overclockers.com

I just looked at the slk-900 and... im not sure it will fit in a P4S8X??? how big do you think it actually is? Is it the same size as the Intel Stock heatsink that came with my Processor?

I'm not sure how big it is. But its not small. Its bigger than the stock heatsink.:t
