I was wondering on the HP copy fax printer scanners if when you got a fax if it printed out only? I want the faxes to go to the computer as well. You know so I could email the faxes without having to scan it in.

Does anyone know if they would do this?

Thanks

On most computer based fax systems that I know of, they go to the pc first, then you print them if you want too, drop HP an email and ask them just to be sure and quote the model number.

couldnt you just plug in your fax and recieve that way? I mean you would need a line conditioner for the DSL but you could still recieve faxes.

Its all ready plugged in, to the pc. The problem is what the other fax machiine sends too, normally you dial a phone number and off she goes, I got no phone number! just a permanent internet address.

All of the HPs can be set to either print or store the fax.

Well I don't have one yet. I am looking @ getting one. D135 or so.

Now storing the fax just stores it in the machine or on the pc?

On the PC in a fax file. You can view it and print it as any other file.
