Need an ISP (NON AOL) that is reliable, reasonably priced, and halfway decent track record.
Going to be for the Philly area. And accessing through a 56K.
Thanks in advance. :t

ive used earthlink for about 4-5 years , their great the modem connections never disconnect even if its on for 24+ hours , you get 10mb webmail account , you get 10mb personal website with 0 ads
$20ish a month i believe
they also have a DSL plan
the first 5-6 months for the dsl plan = $10 , all months after that are the normal price of $40-$50 (I believe you also get the things you get with dialup as well when you order this & installing it is free

Hello, I live about 50 miles from philly. If you are planning to use dial-up I'd say earthlink, i used to use them before and never had a problem. But now i use RCN for everything..they have a plan to get cable tv, cable modem and telephone service all for 85 bucks/month and I just got them to double my bandwidth for free :p nice and reliable/24 hour toll free tech support/even 1 free pay-per-view movie a month :)

Check out www.dslreports.com and see what others in your area have to say regarding ISPs (covers all kinds of broadband, not just DSL).
