I wonder if is possible to record streaming audio:
I mean you listen to a radio channel on the internet and you like what you hear and want to record it, how do you do it?- pls. exclude traditional methods!
Is there software or hardware required to accomplish this??

one way you could do this is to record the stereo mixer on your sound card (under recording, only PCI sound cards support this.) and it will record everything the sound card puts out through your speakers.
