Ok, i am a college student and i hate my current college.. they teach bad and i dont like the place.
I was on financial aid uptil now and did well upto last semester. I was intentionally doing bad this semester because i knew i was gonna try to transfer and i believed that i can transfer without problems. I din't do good in 3 out of the four classes i took this semester. I dint even attempt the final exams.
I submitted a transfer application to another university in the beginning of this month and yesterday i got a "conditional" acceptance letter from them.
Conditions
1) They need my current semester's transcript...(i submitted the one upto the begining of the current semester because i din want the bad scores to show up)
2) All my current scores should meet the minimum admission requirements (which as u c... do not)
My major is computer science and i had taken two cs classes this semester (i din complete them). The new place requires that u have a minimum of 3.0 for all cs courses u have taken. I don know what to do..... i am 17 and i live with my parents..... i cannot even imagine what my dad will feel when he gets to know what's going on...... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

i'm not sure what you're looking for here ...
if it's advice, then here goes. regardless of whether or not you like the school that you're attending, apparently doing well is a 'neccessary evil' to have an opportunity to transfer elsewhere. even if you don't like your school, not even putting forth an effort isn't hurting them at all, it's hurting you. it would seem to me that if you're wanting to transfer out to a better school that you would do the best that you can at this one while you're here so that your transcripts would look that much better when the time came to send them off. there's not anything you can do to rectify the current situation, but you can make it a goal to hit the books hard and bring your average up so that you will be able to transfer out.

YOu are going to find out just how cool your dad is when he finds out. Personally, as the father of 5 I think he would like to hear the news from you ahead of time, along with an apology and explanation, even if it is that you screwed up, which you did. Time heals all, and this is a lesson you wont forget.
Theyre gonna find out eventually, so you gotta consider the situation, hopefully if youre dad will be more considerate if you tell him in advance. If, on the other hand if he is gonna go balistic anyway you might just want to keep quiet and brace youreself. It all depends on what kind of person your dad is, and which scenario you feel that you could cope with best.
Just bafore the new year i told my parents i had enough of school, wasnt doing very well and was thinking about leaving. My mum was sypathetic and tried to persaude me to stay on (which i did) but my dad went nuts and refused to talk to me. I almost walked out of the house(wbich would have caused me to leave school school) because of that. He's not too bad though, he didnt go mad on friday when i passed out drunk after some over zelous celebraing of the last day of school. Now all i gotta do is pass my exams http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif
Hang in there. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Enable RANT mode:
RANT mode on.
As noted above, it's time to shape up, get with the program, get your mind right and all those other Dad/Coach/Sergeant cliches.
What you have done is burn your bridges before you crossed them. This is counterproductive behavior.
Now that you recognize this one error, you would be well advised to reconsider all aspects of your attitudes and behaviors. See where you need to tighten up. College is the time and place to prepare for a career. Work ethic and attitude are essential things to prepare before you enter the workplace.
Specifically:
I din't do good
I dint even attempt
(which as u c... do not)
(i din complete them)
You can do better than this. The ability to communicate is a major asset to have in the workplace, and a major liability if it's missing.
In the old days, Control Data Institute required their students to wear near-military hair, buttons-and-collars shirts and slacks. T-shirts, beards, jeans? If you don't want to be here, drop out.
An organization that wouldn't tolerate sloppy dress ( by their anal retentive definition ) could be expected to take a dim view of sloppy communication.
In the MIS department, a mistyped command can crash the server or the network. Precision is mandatory.
Therefore, practice precision in your personal communications.
RANT mode off.
