I want to multi boot win 2k with sys commander & win 98 se already installed;has anyone had any problems with this?
Secondly should I use NTFS in the partition and if so would I be able to share files with my win 98se partition?
Thirdly I've read that ata 100 performance with this via southbridge and win 2k is poor compared to win 9x. Does this significantly affect real world performance, or do other aspects of win 2k compensate for this? I'd like opinions from people who have run both OSes on the same system. Thanks

I did not use SC2000 to dual oot my Win2K and Win98SE. No problems at all. works great. I would use them as FAT32 so you can read back and forth. Win98 FAT32 cannot read NTFS while NTFS in Win2K can read FAT32. No idea about ATA100 performacnce. I had no real world difference in my RAID0 ATA66 (Fasttrak66) betweent he two, but I am running Intel, not AMD.
Good luck
Dave

Thanks. I've installed it but should I install the via 4in 1 drivers before the service pack or vice versa? To download the service pack would entail me having to install the modem first and AMD has recommended that the via drivers should always be installed first.
