I've downloaded the Sandra Benchmark utility and tested my memory.

I have an ASUS A7V133 MoBo with the VIA Appollo KT133a Chipset and 256MB PC133 CL3 SDRAM.

I've have used different BIOS settings for the memory bus. The highest my system will allow is a 153 (believe me I have tried to go higher). When set at this speed I get a Benchmark reading for the ALU of 419 and FPU of 445. The reference benchmark found in the sandra utility for the VIA KT133 CL2 SDRAM has the ALU at 507 FPU at 565.

Is this because CL2 is faster than CL3?
What does CL2 mean? (does it mean class 2)

CL2 means column latency is how fast the the data in the column is accessed. Data in the memory is kept in columns and rows. The lower the number the faster, the higher the slower.
