What's a X-Originating-IP? Any people out there that can define it for me?

Thanks!

Nearly every email sent contains the "X-originating-IP" in the message headers. This number indicates the IP address (or the specific computer ID) the person was using at the time they sent the email. It can be traced to a specific Internet Service Provider and modem.
