I need it asap. i check many websites and ALL of them are out of stock. Please email me the store info (url) to:

thunderb0lt@rom101.com

Btw, what the big difference between the following:

200fsb 1.33Ghz tbird and 266fsb of the same.
266fsb 1.2ghz and 266fsb 1.33ghz

will the real life performance difference between a 266FSB 1.2GHz and 266FSB 1.33Ghz be noticable?

do u guys think warranty beyond 30 days for OEM tbirds is important (considering i am not a newbie at this)???

thanks a lot

I don't think you'll notice the diff between 1.3 GHz and 1.2 GHz having owned / run both with same softwares.

Try this place:
www.kdcomputers.com (http://www.kdcomputers.com)

Good luck!

Looks like PeachPC (http://www.peachpc.com/Frames/items.asp?CartId=606890PRCFJ59&Cc=AMDTB&tpc=) has them.

I can recommend PeachPC as I bought my 1.2G 266fsb from them a few months ago and am still very happy http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

They gave me a 1 year warranty on the OEM TBird, on the combo mobo/cpu/hsf I had built. Talk to "Emad" at 1-800-804-3207, or email sales@peachpc.com with "Emad" in the subject line.

Good luck! Can't comment / no info on CPU differences.

Well a 1gig Thunderbird is probably better. With my 1.33ghz Thunderbird (it's now dead due to a copper shim) I was only able to overclock to 1.54ghz which is only a 20 percent difference. I've seen people get that high with a 1ghz Thunderbird which is about a 55 percent difference. With a 1ghz you get more bang for your buck. If you don't overclock, you probably don't care.

thanks a lot for helping me out in a confusing situation guys. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Anyways... the system is for my cousin... he wants the best... so i din't wanna keep even a shade of doubt for him.... by going with a slower proc.

Luckily, i found the Tbird 1.33 266FSB oem + fa/hs +1yr warranty for 211+4.95 s/h st premier systems (through pricewatch) and ordered it right away. The send me a tracking number already.

Thanks a lot... the support meant a great deal
