If you go in guns a'blazin' then yes, it's easy, if you get Silent Assassin on all of them, then its hard :x.

Yes, Silent Assassin on them is very hard (for most levels). I've gotten it on all levels but the very last and the third to last IIRC. Guns a blazing works rather well though, not to hitmanish, but if you want to play the game that way, it's your choice.

I thought it was great even though it was a one CD game, as most levels were involving. The first was great as well, but it just seems these levels had a little more "content" than the original had.

But, you have to admit that the first level of Hitman is the best level ever :D.

What a way to start the game, assassinate a Chinese Mafia Guy. :).

If you could mix elements of Hitman with Maxpayne, admit it, you would have the perfect game version of The Killer :o

:D That would be damned cool.

Yeah, he's supposed to be superfast and have these great reflexes, so he should get some bullettime. That would make the last level not so much of a death trap on the highest level - and quite a few others beneath it. The last level is hell on the highest level, especially if your hit with one of those damned sniper rifles, there foes all your health.

Indeed, the cool thing about Leon, Chow Yun fat and Co is that they are able to dodge bullets and thsoe that do hit em, just glide off. In this respect 47 is not a 'movie' hitman. See if Eidos and 3d realms woudl team up to do hitman 4 (3's already under way) in the max payne engine whilst still retaining some of the stealth elements.. WUNDERBAR!!

I'm not saying give him the crazy bullet time in max payne to where long as you weren't within spitting distance you can dodge, but just a little something to give you a slight edge, maybe half or even a quarter of the decelleration of Max Payne's bullettime, as with it on full, if you played it right, the only times you'd get hit were in those areas were the AI was just set up to blow the living **** out of you - as was most of Max Payne. With it lowered to half, you can dodge only the longer ranged shots, and at a quarter it really doesn't give you much in dodging, but it allows you to squeeze an extra few rounds out or aim those rounds a bit better (which he should be good at, aiming) if you choose not to just mow em down.

Still, without bullettime the game is great - just there needs to be something to accenuate his background as they portray him as being the ultimate in human performance. He hardly runs faster than an average person, he accuracy isn't great with weapons (they could just up that some, but then that really makes different weapons useless). I'd prefer to see something other than bullettime, but still something creative which highlights his abilities.

The AI in that game was horrible - that had to be the worst thing about Max Payne. The graphics engine was good, the AI was **** poor and the game was made hard by AI placement and scripts. Once you knew the script routine and the AI placement, you knew exactly when to use bullettime when jumping through a doorway and exactly what weapon to use. A great game ruined by bad AI (and those stupid dream sequences, if I want to play a jumping game I'll go buy a damned gamecube and buy mario brothers 1512 or whatever number they are at right now.

Hi bigjak,opti!

:t :)

Not for me, i have countlessly pressed the QuickLoad key :(.

And the last mission was a mofo... But once you got your way around the level, killing each guard one by one was quite easy.

Now we know what he likes his girlfriend to do for him :p

Yeah, max payne madness bulle time would be pooey in Hitman as Hitman is supposed to be a precision pro, not a haphazard blaster, bullet time giving a little advantage would be pretty good.

As for MP's AI, the AI itself wasnt too bad, but all the enemies actions were scripted, i played throuigh it in two days earlier this week simply because i knew what was coming :(

The best thing about Max Payne that i like is the bullets in Bullet Time.

If you fire out loads of bullets from a mini-uzi in Bullet Time, you can see them, and they look AWESOME! The only reason i still have Max Payne is for my Wallpaper making hobby.

If you got the AI out of a scripted action though, you'd see just how stupid it was. It would set itself on fire with molotov's, just run around stupidly if it had a gun if you were able to break the script, not too bright of an AI. It was 90% positioning the AI with a killer weapon for that position and 10% scripting which made it hard. When the AI kills himself and 5 other enemies with the grenade launcher and you take zero damage with no bulletime used that just smacks of stupidity... it doesn't calculate that an ally is in front of it - it just aims right at you.

I do wish there were a few more levels, the last level was easy if you got the m16 or the m60 - especially the later, one shot from that kills anything practically - you get only a little ammo for it, 80 rounds IIRC, but that's enough to kill a majority of the enemies in the level, then you just whip out the submachine gun or go grab the m16 before you finish the rest. Just always kill the snipers first and you'll do fine. Just getting to the shed is the hard part.
