Are the external Iomega Zip USB 100mb drives compatible with W2K? The W2K HCL doesn't show them..

Any problems with this combo, anyone?

Thanks! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I have a USB Zip100 that I do not have hooked up and cannot remember hooking it up for a while (since I started using Win2K). I will try mine tonight and let you know how it goes. I am not running SP1 and my mobo is basically the same (BF6).

Thanks, Dave. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Well... I couldn't resist the thought of cruising in Fry's, ripping open a new box and seeing myself, so...

The 'For PC or MAC' Zip 100mb External USB "says" W2K compatible... we'll see.

I'll post back.

It works perfectly. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Guess you need not go thru the trouble now, Dave. Thanks again! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

If you are using a USB hub, you may need to change W2K's setting for the hub. I had to switch to a Generic USB hub driver for mine to work properly after I connected more than one thing to the hub.
Just an FYI! Other than that, never had a problem with the 100 USB or the 250 USB.

Fortunately, I didn't have to change anything. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
