I finally bought my MB. I bought a MSI KT4 Ultra w/ AMD xp 2000. Now I have everything hooked up and when I turned it on and POST came on, it said that the BIOS is not conneceted and it turned off on me, but the BIOS is connected on the MB. Can you tell what the problem is?

Try resetting the bios by clearing the CMOS...

That's assuming you checked out the mobo to see if it would post initially...

In case you don't know how to clear the BIOS, there is usually a jumper on the motherboard that is set to clear it, as indictated in the MBoard manual.
If that doesn't work, either return the board, or try reflashing the BIOS exactly according to the instructions either in the MB manual, or provided with the BIOS download for that make and model of motherboard.

Write down the exact wording of the error and search in Google for it.

Thanks guys. But unfortunately, my mb is still giving me that problem. I bought a new Battery and it still cuts off on me. So i think that my Mobo is deffective. Im going to the place i bought it tomorrow.:mad:
