Virus Alert Information
The following message is for all users on May 9 , 2001:

A new virus called VBS.VBSWG2.D@mm
has been detected by anti-virus research centers, and reported in the media. It is also referred to as "HomePage". It is a worm virus that spreads through email. When a user opens the attachment it sends mail to all entries in the Outlook address book. It also attempts to connect to one of four pornographic web sites.

Should you receive the email with the following characteristics,
DO NOT open the attachment contained in the message!
Subject: "Homepage"
Body:
Hi! You've got to see this page! It's really cool ;O)

Attachment: Homepage.HTML.vbs
Do not open this attachment.

To protect your home PC from this new virus threat, be sure you update the virus signature files for your antivirus program.
If you are using Symantec's Norton AntiVirus (NAV) on your home PC, you can obtain the latest virus
definition updates to protect against VBS.VBSWG2.D@mm
in one of the following manners:
Download the files from Symantec's web site: <http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/>
OR
Download and install the updates from within the Norton AntiVirus program using the Live Update feature.
