OK, I got this of the other forum, here is the problem:

Hi,
I was hoping someone here might be able to help me. I just got a new computer ( windows xp--- yuck, and Internet Explorer 6.0.2) and I am having problems with some web pages. When I click on some txt files, the content starts fairly close to the end, sometimes mid-word. After the end of the content, the beginning follows, however the line spacing is messed up. There is no formating. Each line continues after the other ( no paragraph breaks, no spaces, etc).
Any ideas?

Occasionally other web sites come up with what looks to be HTML coding on the top part of the web page and the rest of the page loads.

I know that the person used to have Win98, and now is not happy with XP.

Do the gurus here know what to do?
:(

Tell your friend to dump the 15" monitor, increase resolution or go full-screen by pressing F11.

Text files are not HTML and are loaded as a plugin.

This might be worth looking into also.
