I really doubt that you'll find jumpers on any PCI modem - much less a full hardware one. Why don't you just get serial external? Jimstep 02-15-2003, 04:57 PM Unless you have an older system, plug and play works pretty well. Mick 02-16-2003, 06:20 PM No problems really, I'm just trying to get my usb controller to stop sharing irq 11 with my video card. All of the modems I've tried want irq 10, I thought if I could free up 10 the usb might take it. I have disabled com a and com b in the bios, but noooo the modems want 10. I need a new modem cause this one is a resource hog, and my printer is on it's last leg and the new one will probably be usb. Actually nothing is broke right now and I'm just bored. Mick SysOpt.com
