Just installed a new mobo Gigabyte 7vaxp and cant find the setting to make the mouse(PS/2 connection) sleep in the bios.
when the pc is shut down the backlighting in the optical mouse stays on.
have been into (power management setup) and disabled (mouse power up) but it hasnt fixed the prob.
any ideas??

It NEEDs to stay on, for the mouse to work
and when the computer is "off" is Not really Off, it's just sleeping
only AT PCs will go completely Off
ATX system are always partially Off
if you check any ATX mobo, they have Pilot light inside that shows you that
same with the mouse
so there's no much you can do
the GigaByte Mobo uses the mouse for the 1 click Wake Up option
so mouse will always remain on
same with Keyboard
for the 2 key wake up funtion :t

cheers AG,
just thought it was weird as I have all the wakeups disabled in the bios and with my old soltek mobo the backlight in the mouse did turn off.
but if its not a prob me will just have to live with it .
