I have only just noticed this, it may have been happening for a while without me noticing but anyway, none of my hardware has changed recently, nor the settings in my bios.
When my machine is on and the house phone rings, my machine freezes, nothing will recover it other than a push-button reset.
It does it when watching DVD's, 2 minutes after bootup with no programs open etc. I have replicated this several times.
My machine has been freezing sometimes, but I haven't been here to relate it to the phone.
However, my machine was on for over 5 days solid earlier this week and we must have received at least one call in that time.
Why so sudden, and more often?
