My wifes system(Win98se) started giving her invalid page faults. Then started in with Norton AV faults.....
'navw32 caused invalid page fault".

So I uninstalled Norton and cleaned out the registery and reinstalled Norton System Works 2002. Everything looked good on installation, BUT when I went to get "LIVE UPDATE" Norton told me it didn't install the live updater.

I'm at a lost here on what to do to get Norton to install correctly. I was able to scan for viruses....nothing there. Ran the Norton website scan for the Klez virus....nothing there either.

There was one other fault ..... MSVCRT.DLL I have found a website that had this file zipped for downloading and instalation. I'm not sure this would be a good idea to "just install" this one file into my system.

NEED SOME HELP HERE PLEASE!!!!

Thanks

Got it fixed ...FINALLY !!!!!!!!!!!

Deleted out EVERYTHING I could find with Norton and Symantec in the search for file and folders... the problem was I left out the "live update" in the add and remove program. Once I got that out everything install fine.:x
