Allright printer went down, after investigation found print spool service was down. restarted the service. Still would not work, reintsalled printer and updated drivers, still no action. The comp. is sending the jobs then they hang in que in the print jobs. All other comp. on the network can print fine. I am running a Windows 2000 server/XP environment. Any ideas as to a fix would be helpful. Thanx guys!!!!:mad: :confused: :eek: :D

Is it on a print server or maybe a Jet Direct box?
More details please.

Yes it is on a print server, Win 2000

could you be more specific about what kind of printer, etc? did you try restarting the server? i know you said you restarted the service.

If I understand correctly, some computers can print and some can't. If this is the case, delete the printer from the computers that cannot print and re-add the printer again. If ask to over write the old printer driver, always say yes. Delete the printer at the server will not help because the problem is at client side.
