IE 5.5 toolbar problem

Good tries, but still no text drop-down boxes. I'll try the repair function. All I still have is the title bar, radio button bar, and URL address bar.

Can't believe our L1 support couldnt answer this Q. Then again, I can't find a fix either:

Everyone with IE 5.5 look up top under the page title bar. See the text drop-down menus? (File,Edit,View,Favorites,Tools,Help)

Mine is gone. Help desk said to reinstall IE5.5, and one said it required a complete W98se re-install! It did not get hidden or slid off the page. Can anyone else make their drop-down dialog bar disappear and reappear? No Win help on this feature either.

Try control panel -> add remove programs -> IE 5.5 -> Click on "remove" and it will give an option to repair. Might work for ya. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

hit the "shrink" button (in between the min and close buttons) and then go to the "view" (as you should be able to see it now) and uncheck the "full screen"

That should get you going again if not post back and will keep digging

you might have hit your F11 key on accident this toggles between full screen and normal view. Try hitting your F11 key and see if that helps.
