LAN help

I have two Dell computers and I got them network ready but what I was wondering if i could just have a network wire to have a LAN between the both of them or do i need a wireless network or somting like that. thanks for the help

if you just need the two computers directly, you can get a crossover cable.

if you want to share internet via dsl or cable, then get a router.

you can do wireless, but it'll cost you way more.
