here is the situation,
The problem computer has 2 nic cards, one onboard one generic pci both 10/100. The primary is plugged directly into a personal cable modem, the second is plugged into a switch which is in turn pluged into a router, the router has another cable modem plugged into it. What I need to happen is let the primary nic card handle all internet activity while having the second nic be used for network activity. Right now its kind of a **** shoot on some programs which modem is being picked used. I'm currently running Win2k sp3, and the network consists of about 8 other windows boxes with almost every flavor 98 to XP.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
