Wrong printout size in MS WORD 2002

This is a strange one:
I have a MS WORD document with many figures in it. It looks fine on the screen in Print Preview. WHen I print it, however, it appears as if it were scaled down in size. Other documents print fine. I tried it on an HP LaserJet 1100 and on an Epson Color Stylus 900 with identical results. I checked in the printer properties and it is not scaled down there.

I am running WINDOWS 2000 with all the SPs, and also Office XP with all the latest "fixes" and SPs.

Any ideas?

How scaled down does it look? 50 to 80% smaller?

Have you tried changing the font of the doc?

It looks approximately 70 percent smaller. If I copy one page out of the document to a new document, it prints fine. Since it does the same thing on two very different printers, and since other documents print OK, I am almost certain that there is SOMETHING in this sick doc that is causing the problem, but I have been unable to put my finger on it.

Copy the whole thing to a now doc!
