I thought I seen where windows 98 can only run up to 60GB hard drive. Was wondering though. If I partion it say 60% / 40% on a larger drive would it still work as long as no one drive is over the 60GB ? if it's true at all.

I believe Windows 98 can handle up to 127GB, perhaps even on one partition but not sure. Reading up on it at Micorsoft's website would tell you. However the fdisk program on a 98 boot disk can only deal with a drive as large as 60GB. There is an updated fdisk at bootdisk.com or one of its linked sites that will come in handy.

win98 will be just fine with a 60gb drive. the 127gb limit is on the bios, not win98 itself.

FAT32 supports drives up to 2 terabytes in size.

win2k and xp don't like FAT32 drives larger than 32GB. They prefer NTFS.
