ebay lcd moniters

i want to get a lcd moniter and since im short on funds i decided to look on ebay.... i found screens from laptops on there for extremly cheap.... only prob is obviously u cant just stick that connecter into ure vid card...... and idea how u can do it and is it worth it ?

Not worth the hassle. The price of controller cards to do the job is quite high - so much so that you are better off getting a proper LCD monitor. Then you need to find the pinout of the LCD and match it to the controller. Finally, what are you going to mount it in, a laptop lid is gonna look kinda crummy sat on your desk surrounded by wires. If you are up for the challenge, then go for it, have a look at www.earthlcd.com for suitable controllers.
