looks pretty good to me.
anyone know of any places like this on the web that sells cheap good computers. i'm looking for a whole new system (no moniter needed), with either a amd, or intel (not celeron) processor, cd burner, lots of ram, etc. for under $400.

Its really not that great unless you dont mind having onboard video and sound and not being able to utilize ddr memory..if you ever plan to use it for games don't bother you can something much better for a little bit more i'm sure

Jim,
Agree with most of what Mr Porchey said - That MoBo does support DDR but may not newer and faster RAM. The price is higher than several other places for similar systems.
If you plan to play graphic intense games, you need a different MoBo as this one does not have an AGP slot for expansion. Sound is not a factor - you should choose your own sound card anyway.
Can you assemble? What OS will you use? What's your plan for a system six months from now?
The total value of everything there, minus MoBo and CPU, is about $225.00. A really good, and expandable MoBo w/CPU will run about $180.00. This comment matches up with Mr Porchey's comments. Assembly time is the factor to consider.
Even if you have never assembled a system, I'd recommend that you do - not that dificult - you'll learn a lot. It can and usually will, cost more to build your own system. You cannot get the parts and pieces for the same price as a company (they buy in volume). But you can often make up for that because you're not buying unneeded stuff.
If you'll be doing nothing more than general computing, word/work processing, surfing, etc: this system is OK. You can buy an essentially similar system for $299.00 at many store-front locations and on-line. Shipping and handling is usually high for on-line purchases - look for stores first - ask lots of questions.
