Anyone know LG's website :p ?

I was looking around through my old pc's device manager and noticed my 4x24x4 (somthing like that) CD-RW drive that came with my compaq is LG so I wanted to see if maybe they have a driver update or somthing since the drivers installed are from 1999

Word of warning though, if your CD-RW is working OK leave off installing anything that you think might 'help' it work better.

chances are with a CD Writer you'll need to flash the BIOS and it's not always smooth sailing. if it goes wrong, you'll not even have a coffee cup holder to show for it (unless you want to manually open the tray with an opened out paperclip that is.

I killed a DVD-ROM in similar fashion trying to get it region free. Luckily for me I took it back to the shop and got a replacement as the other one was DOA (apparently) :D

just a word of warning. If it's not broke, don't fix it :t
