This is the proposed setup:

AMD 1333 mhz TBird 266fsb
IWill KK266R board.
256 MB (128 x 2) PC150 SDRAM DIMM
IBM 75GXP 60GB ATA100 7200rpm
Quantum Bigfoot 6GB
Plexwriter 12/10/32
Generic 50x cd drive (to be replaced by DVD later)
Creative Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Platinum
Voodoo 3 2000 16mb PCI
Linksys 10/100 nic
1.44 :P FDD

I checked the amd approved list and it's not there.... anyway i have heard people using non-approved ps for the cpu without problems.

Some of the info from the label on the PS is given below.... please tell me what u think

Might have to try it to see---I have 2 300's not on the list that have worked fine---hope it DOES work itl allow you to save some money for an improved videocard...

Should work just fine, skyhawk is a good name, just avoid too much overclocking, skyhawk and other such power supplies put out "dirty" current that makes overclocked parts less stable.

thanks to both of u.

just in case....... name some of the best PSUs so that i can get one of them if this one is unstable.... is enermax good?(for overclocking too?) what size (watts) should i get when buying a new one?
