I have a H.P. 700mg Athlon w/ 512mgs sdram.
I'm running out of resources. When first booted resources are 72+%, after signing in and out of the "web" 4 times,I'm down to 21%.
What I have found is that in the "virtual memory" setting window, it shows the available hard drive memory as a "-" (minus).
If this "-" is true, then "windows" management of resources has no additional H.D. space to use. Is that why i'm running out of memory? Incidently, I went to a major computer store and they said they had never heard of anything like that before ("-"). I checked 8 of the display computers that were running and found over 30% showed a "-" sign. Again asked there tech rep., he said "never seen that before".
Any and all help is and will be appreciated
Thanks
Herm
