CDA stands for Compact Disk Audio (basically a wave file)

That is the format that music is burned to a CD so that it is playable in all cd players (car, diskman ect ect) Just open up your mp3 conversion program and it should recoqnize them and will encode them to mp3 format.

mp3 conversion program...?? heehee
I don't believe that I have a mp3 conversion program. What is a good one? (can winamp do it?)

also, when I put the cd (it has 8 .cda tracks on it) in my cdrom, and then opened the CD Player (default windows one), it said there was no disk in the drive... can you enlighten me?

thanks

U can use winamp to convert from mp3 to wav. Than you can burn wavs to cd and read it with every cd-player.

For converting cda-s to wav or mp3, or any other art of convertin, u can use music match jukebox. it's free, fast and easy to use. ttp://www.musicmatch.com/home/
