Summer is coming and campus is closing down (YAY). During the summer I'mma just get a job and spend a few Bills on upgrading my computer. So far on my list:

radeon 64DDR
DVD >= 12x
etc...

Then it just cross my mind that I could get a great small theater setup if I connected my mini home system that handles Dolby Digital. Now my question is, will the Dolby Digital be lost from my onboard sound card?

My mobo a an abit VL6

Your AC97 onboard codec outputs plain stereo signal, it will sound better on home HI-FI, but forger about DTS/AC3 http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
