CD-ROM and CD-RW does not read. This is not a constant feature however. I did clean the leans already. I recall similar topic was postedin the past. I run Win ME.

CD-ROM does not read at all or CD-ROM does not read CDRWs. Or CD-ROM and CDRW drive and neither read CDs. Please clarify.

CD-ROM and CDRW will not read anything. Can not find drive "D" or "E". There were no special drivers provided for the above. Only standard Windows drivers. The CD-ROM and CDRW are listed in Device Manager and it says it is working properly.

Try adding LASTDRIVE=Z in your config.sys
